Notarization and travel are different charges.
A mobile appointment can include the notarization and a separate travel or other agreed service charge. Your location, number of documents, and appointment requirements help determine the quote.
State limits are not a complete trip quote.
The Colorado Secretary of State currently lists a maximum of $15 per document for a standard notarization and $25 for electronic or remote notarization. Additional services must be disclosed and itemized separately.

What to include in a quote request
- The type and number of documents
- Number of people who need to sign
- Paper, electronic, or requested remote format
- Neighborhood or ZIP code for a mobile visit
- Your preferred appointment time
Ask about any travel, parking, waiting, cancellation, or other charges before confirming. Do not assume the state’s maximum notarial fee includes travel.
